Tyler Maki, Director

With over 16 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry, Tyler has developed extensive expertise in Property and Casualty insurance, with a strong background in Claims management. In his current role as Commercial Supervisor & Nominee for RCU Insurance Services Ltd he leads with a focus on client advocacy, operational excellence, and industry best practices. Inspired by the one & only Todd Hochban- He holds his CAIB designation, and continually seeks to learn & better himself. Tyler has been honored with several awards reflecting his extensive community involvement & efforts in the industry.

A two-time Citizen of the Year nominee, and Avid Toastmaster- Tyler currently serves on the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce board and dedicates much of his time to volunteering with organizations like Rotary(Immediate Past President), the Humane Society, the Revelstoke Grizzlies(Announcer), and Community Connections.

Whether advocating for clients, contributing to the community, or exploring the world — from Nepal to Ireland, India to Scotland — Tyler strives to embody his favorite words of wisdom: “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

Outside of work, you’ll often find him skiing, reading, or hiking the picturesque mountains around Beautiful British Columbia.
