John Dickinson, Executive Director

John Dickinson, BA FCIP joined CUISA in August 2023 after a 32 year career with ICBC spanning claims, road safety, and insurance. Well known to brokers as the former Director, Insurance Sales and Distribution, John has represented the corporation at Strategic Accord discussions ever since 2002 and has led ICBC’s approach to Liaison, MOUC, and various task forces for many years. John is a past president of the Insurance Institute of BC (2005-06), past co-chair of WICC BC, and in 2019 was awarded the general insurance industry’s Salute Insurance Person of the Year award.

John lives in North Vancouver with his wife Sonja, enjoys the outdoors as much as possible, and sees his two adult daughters whenever they need laundry or a home cooked meal.
